My name is Emily and I will be your Kambo facilitator. I am so excited to serve the community a medicine that has helped me heal. I can’t wait for you to meet this sacred amphibian medicine that has been used for physical and spiritual detoxes for centuries.      9 portals was my dose of medicine. “Portal” refers to the dots that are gently burned to apply the paste-like medicine. It’s burned with something similar to the size of an incense stick and once the medicine is done doing the work a dragon’s blood resin is applied to protect the skin
In ceremonies the individuals who have not been with Kambo before will receive 1 test dot prior to adding others for safety. 3 is the usual dose for first timers but the dosage is up for discussion
    I have come to this medicine triggered and bitter from situations and have been able to surrender to the medicine and give up the things my physical does not need. These petty squabbles, expectations, or judgments we have. The dis-ease society can sometimes put in our body and heart. Kambo will help move “panema” which is described as built-up negative energy or blockages. This medicine teaches surrender, how to pause, and slow down. To think.  To breathe through hard moments.
    This amphibious medicine just pushes you to grow from a tadpole to a frog. To change.
