My name is Erin Weems and this is my second year as part of the Leaf and DeVine support team. I serve this community inside and outside of ceremony by helping to ensure your experience is staffed with qualified onsite medical personnel. Additionally, I provide guidance to the facilitation team regarding potential medication interactions and volunteer with the Growth and Expansion Committee, to carry our mission, message and medicine forward. 

 

My role is to coordinate with participants, medics and the facilitators to ensure physical safety and bio-psycho-social wellbeing-before, during, and following ceremony. I am available to discuss specific health or medication related questions and concerns, train medics on how to conduct your intake upon arrival to the ceremony space and how to weave ongoing monitoring throughout the weekend. 

 

I am an Army combat veteran, Harvard trained in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, a Registered Nurse, a Certified Addictions Counselor, Licensed Massage Therapist and board-certified Forensic Nurse Examiner.  My career path and life calling is to integrate the psychological and somatic connections between mind and body; drawing tangible lines between Heal Thy Self and HealThy Self.
